Q: How does Cooking with Chef Steven’s personal chef service work?

A: Contact Cooking with Chef Steven to make a reservation and secure the date for your event. (A deposit is required to reserve your date). You will be provided with a free consultation with Chef Steven to determine the menu and finalize the details of your party. Chef Steven will shop for the ingredients, prepare, cook, and serve each course and will leave your kitchen spotless when he's done. Each of your guests will be provided with a menu of the delicacies served. You will enjoy a memorable meal with your guests as Chef Steven takes you on a culinary adventure.
Q: What do I need in my kitchen?

A: All you need is a working stove, running water, silverware and plates, and these standard kitchen items: Pots & Pans, Baking Trays, Mixing Bowls, Cutting Board and Basic Tools such as Tongs, knife, spatula, serving spoon. Chef Steven will bring certain pieces of equipment if the menu requires. It is to be noted that Chef Steven does not provide dishes for his parties. Please have plates, bowls, silverware, and serving platters/bowls for larger parties ready to go.
Q: Can I change my dinner event details after booking?
A: We understand that changes will happen, we simply ask you to contact
Chef Steven 5 days prior to your event with any changes. Unfortunately, if a notice of 5 days is not provided, Cooking with Chef Steven will not be able to issue a refund.
Q: How many guests can Cooking with Chef Steven accommodate?
A: Chef Steven focuses on small and intimate dining experiences, however, we are able to accommodate larger parties with additional staff provided by Cooking with Chef Steven

Q: How much will the ingredients cost?
A: Below I have attached the different services that I offer for dinner parties. The price of the groceries will depend on if you prefer organic ingredients and which main proteins you would like to have for each dish. On the lower end for 10 guests the groceries range between $20-30 per person and on the higher end (e.g., organic ingredients, lobster, scallops, sea bass, prime filet mignon) the cost will be between $50-75 per person.
Q: What are my payment options?

A: The deposit, food reimbursement, and service can be made directly to Cooking with Chef Steven LLC. We accept Cash, Personal Check, Venmo, Chase Quick Pay, and PayPal.

A: Yes we absolutely do - You'll find those below!
Q: I have more guests than expected, can I increase my headcount?
A: Yes but advance notice is needed. Additional fees may apply.
